Wow!! What a
beautiful experience “Gardens By The Bay” was, there was so much colour and
vibrancy amongst the gardens as you can see from the photos. There are 3 main
sections of Gardens By The Bay: the Cloud Forest Dome, the Flower Dome and the
walk among the top of the trees. Everything about this garden was
done so well and had such a beautiful vibe to it, I had the best time walking
on the Tree Top Walk (next to a freaking out mum!!) and the view was so
beautiful. The glass domes are a great way to cool off as Singapore is so hot;
however I ended up getting too cold in the Cloud Forest Dome due to the
waterfall. If you are planning, or want to go, to Singapore this is definitely
a recommendation from me!
All of the
different plants and flowers in the Flower Dome were so beautiful... including
a whole crowd of tourists crowding around an orange tree which they had never
seen before and kept calling out to their friends "look I never knew
oranges grew on trees??" (very amusing experience). There were many art
works and a nursery rhyme exhibit was on when we went in. This was very cute
and pretty. Although the Flower Dome was incredible it just couldn't top the
Cloud Dome, a 30 meter dome with a waterfall cascading down the middle and a
walk stretching all the way to the top of the dome (also had some very nice vertical
gardens for taking blog photos!!).
There is a
free entry to the main garden but a cost for the Tree Top Walk and domes,
however, if you do end up going to the gardens it is worth spending your money.
